In the spring of 2012, after I visited Ukraine as part of the Teachers for Global Classrooms fellowship, I took my week of spring break to visit Turkey. I explored two areas: Istanbul, their biggest city, and Cappadocia, a beautiful spot with a very unique landscape in Central Turkey. I was also very lucky to visit a few schools while I was there.
