I leave in less than 24 hours for my flight home. It will be a long journey, which will take more than 24 hours. I will miss China, but more than anything else, I will miss the people with whom I’ve been experiencing this journey. The students and staff have taught me a lot. In particular, there are four people who have been my family for the summer. I could go on forever about them, here is what I love most about each of them:
Ling: warm, genuine, and compassionate to all
Silvia: honest, goofy, and loving
Gabriella: caring, kind, and reflective
Stanley: flexible, open, and earnest
Thanks to this amazing team. We’ve had our ups and downs, but each of these people has contributed a great deal to making this summer special for me, and I will miss them very much.

I agree, if I traveled with them somewhere, I’d miss them too.
I think I like Silvia the best though. She looks like she’s always up for fun! But Ling, Gabriella, and Stanley are awesome too!!
Are some of them leaving China too? Or are they staying there?
